A good friend of mine from college, Jennifer, came to visit last week. We hadn't seen each other for six years! She left her boys with her mom in the Portland area and came for an overnight visit and girl time. It was SO good to see her! We hit the outlet mall, toured through La Conner, enjoyed lunch on the deck at Calico Cupboard, and chatted non-stop! It was cool and rainy her first day here, but the next day was beautiful and sunny. Now they're on an Alaska cruise, where I hope she's enjoying her "warm" clothes purchases. Phoenix to Alaska is quite an adjustment mid-summer! Thanks for coming, Jen!
