We got to visit Jon, Lauren, and Logan in California over the Labor Day weekend. We were so excited finally to meet our youngest nephew! Of course we think he's adorable and a sweetheart! We went to La Jolla on Saturday - what a beautiful, fun spot. At the top of a hill near town, there is a war memorial and park with stunning views.

After lunch, we went down by the beach. Troy and Jon had fun walking around and looking in the tide pools.
Lauren and I stayed with Logan on the grassy knoll above, enjoying the sun and warmth while Logan stayed shaded.
