Painting the Nursery

Dan and Tonya came over last Saturday to help paint the baby's room. Thank you so much for your help, Dan & Ton!
Curious girls wanting to watch The painting crew, getting started
Hmmm...the color must be "yummy yellow"!
The two rollers...
Jacqueline and I made alphabet shortbread...Julia helped eat it! :)
The girls stayed enthralled through a few stories before dinner.

We brought out a couple puppets that I used to use in trainings. The alligator and monkey were a hit! The monkey especially got lots of love. He had fun playing hide and seek, giving kisses, etc.

Wow--great blog "catch-up" Lisa! So nice to see Wanda's little sweet girls too. Now Boo Boo's room is ready--time is getting close and we are getting so excited!

Yeah, another yellow I can see in "real life". I'm planning to paint the playroom yellow, but I'm having difficulty deciding on what one to use. A little 2 inch chip just doesn't help very much. Is is a secret color, or can I have the name of it?!

Amy, the color is called "Butter Up," from Sherwin Williams. I can show you the paint chip if you'd like to see it, and of course you're welcome to see it in person in the room! We do like how it turned out. As always, the impact in a whole room is completely different from the little paint chip!
