May Happenings

Wow - the time has just flown! Braden turned 3 months on the 2nd. It was a month of rapid changes for him! He began to put consonant and vowel sounds together more, such as "A-mum" and "A-goo." He really increased his interactive "talking" and laughing too, - so fun for us! He continued to play with his hands more and more as the month went on, and began grasping toys consistently. Mommy went back to work on the 1st - not a fun day - but Braden has done well. Grandma Suzy has been a tremendous help. Fortunately, I haven't had to leave him very much yet. It's the right time of year to go back to work!
Braden at 3 months After a walk outside...exhausting! We went on a little Saturday outing to Kayak Point Park.
Mother's Day at Justin's
Justin had a lovely barbecue for the family moms on Mother's Day - thank you, Justin!

A few misc. photos...
The first time I played the piano with Braden sitting on my lap...requires a bit of a different posture since he doesn't sit up on his own yet, but he loved it from the start and still does!
Braden enjoys reading books!
Smiley Shark is a favorite...thanks, Uncle Jon, Auntie Lauren, and Logan!
He began playing with toys in his Bumbo seat.
We went to visit the family in California and Arizona for a week over Memorial Day...pics from that trip to come soon.

He is totally adorable Lisa! We'll look forward to meeting him! Hope that you heard that my Grandma Lucy (Carlson) Hoogers passed away Sunday. Her funeral is planned for Sat, the 20th in Oroville. Take care of that little boy (and the big one too :-)
